Pretrip Information

A pre-trip meeting was held at 1PM EDT on July 23, 2022 for the trip.

The meeting agenda included travel logistics, meal planning policy, detailed trip itinerary, Q&A, and more. The bullet list below includes links to an audiovisual recording of the meeting, the full PowerPoint slideshow, a complete suggested packing list, and a menu planner worksheet.

If there is additional information that you cannot find among these documents and recordings, please let me know and I will do my best to get the information that you want.

Please review Reopen Europe for information on all required travel documentation. This will let you drill down to the specific requirements of your transit country as well as the final destination, which of course is Ireland. Most, if not all Covid-19 requirements have been lifted. But you should review this site anyway...just in case.

Additional information is available on the US Embassy website for Ireland.

The CDC has rescinded all requirements for testing to board flights to the United States; however, proof of vaccination is still required.

Of particular note is that the US dollar is the strongest it has been against the Euro in quite some time. As of August 7, 1 Euro costs $1.02 on the commercial markets.
